       Staten Island Garden Club was founded in 1914 by Alice Austen. Meetings are held the 4th Wednesday of each month except Jan., July, Aug., and Nov. at 12:30PM.  All meetings are held on the premises of All Saints Episcopal Church on 2329 Victory Blvd., Staten Island, NY.
      Our club’s objectives are: to foster and inspire interest in gardens and to promote their creation; to cooperate in the achievement of community welfare; to promote programs of informative character pertaining to gardens, flower propagation and artistic design, to cultivate social relations among its members and to encourage appreciation of flowers, horticulture and design.
         In addition to supporting the First District’s Projects; the club maintains the grounds at each of the following: Alice Austen House Museum, Alice Austen Grave, Moravian Cemetery, Anthony R. Gaeta Park.
          Other projects include Arbor Day Tree Planting - New Yorkers for Parks Daffodil Project - Snug Harbor Cultural Center, Botanical Garden "Spring Plant Sale."
